“ Come join us the first and third Wednesday of each month!”
Gatherings will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, September through May, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. There is no obligation to attend all gatherings, come when you can. Until further notification all meetings will be via zoom.
St. Anne’s was formally MOM’S but with so many Moms working today the group got smaller and smaller and it was decided it was time to branch out and have a group for all ages of women. We chose St. Anne’s as our patron saint in honor of her daughter Mary and her grandson, Jesus. Her name means “grace” or “the gracious one” or “the loving one.” St. Anne was the spouse of St. Joachim and was chosen by God to be the mother of Mary, His own blessed Mother on earth. They were both of the royal house of David. Not only was she involved in the raising of her grandson Jesus, she represents all women, married, unmarried, mothers, grandmothers, and those without children.
We will begin this year with a scripture study on Matthew. Each discussion will follow with some online social time. Marylynn, Carol and I are anxious to hear how you keep yourself busy during this time of social distancing and staying home. At each meeting we will share stories of how Covid-19 has filtered into our daily understandings and habits. Have a new recipe that knocks every one’s socks off, this is a perfect time to share with the group. Perhaps you might have a sample to show us what it looks like.
Please join us! Provide us with your email address so we can let you know when our meetings are.
