We would love to see how your family spends time together!
What happens when you tell a group of First Communion Candidates that the contents in the tube of toothpaste is a sin they have committed. They squeeze it out on the table for everyone to see. Then you tell them to try to take away that sin by putting it BACK IN the tube!
You can imagine the look on their face as they tried to put their sin back in the tube. No matter how hard they tried to put it back in, it didn’t work. It is like that when we sin, we can’t put it back like it did not happen.
Then they were told that there is a way to make your sins disappear like they never happened, and they were all ears. “How,” they asked? By going to reconciliation and telling Father their sins and receiving absolution.
Now that is “Good News!”
